In our office, we are very pleased to be able to offer nitrous oxide ("laughing gas") sedation to our patients who appreciate the extra help with relaxation. For someone who is apprehensive or anxious, with a strong gag reflex, or who typically leaves the dental chair feeling very tense and fatigued, this form of sedation is an excellent choice.
