We use digital Xrays – they are much superior to traditional film x-rays
The benefits include:
- Less radiation — the radiation exposure from digital imaging is ~80% less than from traditional x-ray
- Shorter appointment times – These films can be processed in a fraction of the time of traditional x-rays meaning less chair time for our patients
- Improved imaging — images can also be sharpened, enlarged, and optimized in a variety of ways that improve diagnostic proficiency
- Decreased environmental impact — digital x-rays eliminate the material and chemical waste produced by traditional film-based x-ray
At our office we are able to display your digital X-rays in the operatory on our large TV screens and review all our findings and treatment plans with you.
