Dr. Ryan Schure is a board-certified Periodontist in Canada, holding both a Doctor of Dental Surgery and a Master of Science in periodontology and implant surgery from the University of Toronto. His training included externships at the University of Michigan and the Academisch Centrum Tandheelkunde Amsterdam. He has received numerous awards, and his research on the link between cardiovascular and periodontal diseases is published and presented internationally.

Dr. Schure’s comprehensive scope of practice includes the non-surgical and surgical treatment of periodontal diseases, tissue regeneration, and soft tissue grafting. He is highly proficient in the surgical placement of dental implants, performing advanced procedures like guided bone regeneration and maxillary sinus augmentation, as well as soft tissue grafting for aesthetic enhancements. His philosophy centers on prevention first to ensure patients’ long-term oral health.

He is a Fellow and Examiner in Periodontics for the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and an Assistant Professor and Course Director at the University at Buffalo’s School of Dental Medicine. He is also an active member of several prominent dental associations.
